Oh well, life won't be complete without a hobby. My addicted to computer games friend is asking me to get her playstation 3 when I go home for a vacation and she will pay for it. She does not want to get it there because she might get a fake one so she wanted to get it from here in the US to make sure that her new buddy will be original and not pirated. She can spend almost all day playing games, when you go to her house and she's not the one to open the door for you their maid will lead you to her room and expect that she's busy playing her playstation.

Oh yeah, we do not want girls with hairy armpit. I once saw a girl in the bus wearing tank top and when raised her hands about half inch hair were waving at me. Oh my as in oh my! That's TO for me but I do not know for others. When I know that my armpit hair are growing I do not wear sleeveless or spaghetti straps and to conscious to raise my hands.

I am getting tired of removing my armpit hair traditionally with tweezer that leaves chicken skin sometimes, when I shave at the very next day they grow and seem thicker. I tried using Nair hair removal cream before but ewwww I can't stand the smell and my underarm turned red. I can't afford to have laser hair removal and today I decided to try my friend's advice to do waxing instead. I am happy with the result because it's quick hair is gone. I am waiting for the epilin wax though I heard that's the best wax so far.

Before starting to wax any part of your body, make sure the area to be waxed is 100% clean and dry. Do not apply any lotions or creams to the area beforehand.

If you are using the hot wax method, before applying the wax make sure the wax is at a suitable temperature that isn’t likely to burn your skin.

Applying The Wax

Apply the wax to the area in the same direction as the hair growth. Also make sure the thickness of the wax is a suitable one for the kind of hair you are removing. Thin wax formulas are o.k. if your hair is fine but a thicker wax formula should be used if you are removing thicker coarse hairs.

The length of the hair will be a good measure of how successful your hair removal treatment will be. Try and make sure that the hairs you intend to remove are longer than 1/8th of an inch. I have been lurking around into different fil-west forums and reading different stories is fun yet there are times that it will make you think both negative and positive. There are some cases that when a "pinay" moved to other country their life becomes miserable simply because there is lack of communication between them. QANTAS B747 Emergency Landing To Manila

We admire the pilot and crew of the Qantas Airways QF30 last July 25 that had an emergency landing in NAIA-Manila, Philippines. Instead of blaming each other again let us be all thankful that the crew did well so the passengers won't panic too much.

Let's be thankful that no one got hurt and they landed safely in Manila. If I were one of the passengers I could not imagine how to react if this happens.

I couldn’t forget when my sisters are working in a video shop I can watch almost any movie that I want. There were no computer shops or internet café yet, no CD/DVDs so the video business was booming during 80’s and 90’s. My favorite was Superman II a flying from Lois's penthouse apartment which I believe is top grosser classic film.

There is another movie that we like to watch, the WarGames in 1983 an Oscar award winning film. It’s back but only for one night only to celebrate its silver anniversary on July 25th showing in selected theaters nationwide. The never-before-seen interviews with the film’s creators, casts and crews will be included. Also on this night you will be able to see the making of the sequel - WarGames: The Dead Code.

Watching the TFC last night made me teary eyed good thing that hubby shake me to translate it in English so he can catch up. Wowowee in NJ was bombarded with lots of audiences from different cities in NJ and nearby states. Our favorite part of the show is the Willie of Fortune where 6 players have to compete to each other. Each player has different stories but what caught my attention the most is the player originally from bicol region.

She was lucky that someone helped her to get here in the US and she has to work for them as a maid and pay all the expenses they paid for her visa that took her 5 years to pay off. Simply, because she wants to give her family a better life and finish her youngest daughter’s schooling. She got sick and couldn’t work and being alone in the country is very hard for her but still her heart is pure to think about her family back home on how she can help them.

I am proud of Filipino values that no matter how hard life is we are willing to help when our “kababayan” need help from us. Studio audiences contributed some amount to help her. See even in the US Filipinos are also having a hard life needless to say the homesickness that they have to get through with. What made me cry more is that Willie has a big heart to help her brother have his operation.
